Al igual que en los Globos de Oro 2024, ‘Succession’, ‘The Bear’ y ‘Bronca’ han destacado como las grandes ganadoras de los Premios Emmy 2024. Este evento estuvo marcado por reuniones emotivas, homenajes y la celebración de una industria que busca recobrar impulso tras las huelgas de guionistas y actores.
Esto se reflejó en las diferencias entre la lista de nominados de los Emmy y la de otros premios, ya que la postergación de esta ceremonia (inicialmente programada para septiembre) llevó a reconocer, en 2024, los estrenos realizados entre el 1 de junio de 2022 y el 31 de mayo de 2023. De esta manera, se destacó la excelencia televisiva estadounidense de hace más de año y medio, subrayando la actual era dorada de las series de plataformas como Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, Prime Video, y otras, así como de la televisión en abierto.
